1997 Fender Collector's Edition Stratocaster

Number 1853 of 1997 built. Simply put, it's an AVRI '62 w/ Gold Hardware and Texas Special pickups. The guitar is all stock, except for an aftermarket white pickguard. The guitar is in good condition over all, with minor swirling and small scratches in the finish. The only real dings are just south of the bridge, two small circular dents that are difficult to pick up on camera (3rd picture) as well as some chipping behind the neck plate and on the top of the heel. The original tortoise shell pickguard is included. The OHSC has wear and tear that's consistent with a 27 year old case, but it's still functional. Over all, this is a great sounding and playing instrument, with a lot of life left in it!
